Hugo Sindelar is an Assistant Professor at the Montana State School of Film and Photography. Hugo has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Sciences, and an M.F.A. in Science and Natural History Filmmaking. After graduating with his Ph.D., he decided to pursue a career in science filmmaking. His films have covered a diverse array of topics including western wildfires, thermophiles in Yellowstone, elk, soil carbon research, and an Arctic climate monitoring expedition. These films have been featured on PBS, the Yellowstone National Park website, and in numerous film festivals.
